Nach Beendigung unserer Global Challenge sind wir zu einem Gesamtergebnis von 17.757.000 Schritten in 100 Tagen gekommen. Geht man vom Mittel von 6,5 Kilometern pro 10.000 aus entspricht das ungefähr einer Länge von 11.543 Kilometern. Damit könnten wir alle zusammen bis nach Lima in Peru laufen.

Auch dem Durchschnitts-deutschen und -österreicher haben wir während unserer Challenge deutlich übertrumpft (und tun wir hoffentlich auch weiterhin). Im Schnitt lieferten das Team Cool Runnings 12.740 pro Tag und geht daher auch als Sieger hervor, wohingegen das Team Muc trotzdem einen stolzen Schnitt von 12. 645 vorzuweisen hat. Damit liegen beide Teams deutlich über dem Durchschnitt, nach Studien legt der Durchschnittsdeutsche nur 5205 Schritte zurück und der Österreicher steht mit 5351 auch nur wenig besser da.

Der Durchschnitt beider Teams lässt schon erahnen, dass der Unterschied nur bei 60.582 Schritten lag. Was, wenn man bedenkt, dass der Einzelrekord an Schritten an nur einem Tag bei 41.182 Schritten lag, beinahe wie nichts erscheint.
