Halbzeit für ZPARTNER bei der GlobalChallenge von Virgin Pulse

Anfang September haben ein Großteil der ZPARTNER Mitarbeiter bei der Global Challenge angefangen. Dabei handelt es sich um ein Programm für Firmen um das Bewusstsein für Bewegung, Ernährung und die Gesundheit im Allgemeinen bei ihren Mitarbeitern zu fördern. Die Global Challenge ist ein weltweites Unterfangen mit knapp 6000 Teams. Jeder Teilnehmer wird mit einem Schritttracker ausgestattet oder verwendet einen der unterstützten Fitnesstracker (wie Garmin oder Fitbit). Andere Aktivitäten wie Radfahren oder Schwimmen werden entsprechend auf Schritte umgerechnet. Allgemeine Informationen über die Challenge findet man hier:  https://globalchallenge.virginpulse.com 

Wir bei ZPARTNER sind mit zwei Teams (Cool Runnigs und Team MUC) mit jeweils 7 Personen an den Start gegangen und haben die Hälfte der 100 Tage mittlerweile hinter uns gebracht. Wir finden es ist an der Zeit für ein erstes Resümee. Als SAP BW Consulting ist die Aufbereitung von Daten zu Informationen unser Geschäft. Daher haben wir naturgemäß begonnen die Schrittdaten auf täglicher Basis zu erfassen und uns somit unsere Rohdaten zusammengetragen. Daten wollen aber analysiert, visualisiert und interpretiert werden.  Um eine aussagekräftige Visualisierung unserer Daten umsetzen zu können, haben wir diese Rohdaten in unsere SAP Analytics Cloud übertragen. SAP Analytics Cloud ermöglicht es jedem Teilnehmer sich über das Web (Mobile oder Browser) über den aktuellen Stand der Challenge bei ZPARTNER zu informieren.  

Hier einige interessante Fakten:  

  • Bis heute wurden 8.820.729 Schritte gemessen.  
  • Global Challenge rechnet diese Schritte in ca. 5645 km um. 
  • Der Schnitt pro Teilnehmer und Tag liegt aktuell bei 13.126 Schritten pro Tag.  
  • Damit liegen wir sowohl was Branche als auch Land angeht über dem Schnitt.  
  • Aktuell liegt Team MUC auf Platz 1097 und CR auf 1173 
  • Den ersten Platz belegt übrigens das Team DEHIWALA JEMS aus Sri Lanka. Das Team hat aktuell einen Schritt Durchschnitt von unglaublichen 42.982 Schritten pro Tag und Teilnehmer. 
  • Der aktuelle HighScore bei uns an einem Tag liegt bei ca. 41k. Das entspricht über 33km. Die Kollegen aus Sri Lanka machen das jeden Tag. Respekt!  
  • Die beiden Teams (CR versus Team MUC) sind bis jetzt immer gleichauf marschiert. 
  • Allerdings ist das eine Team (CR) wesentlich homogener als das andere (Team MUC) 
  • Die Mitarbeiter aus DE laufen mehr als die Kollegen aus AT (14.006 zu 11.528).  
  • Unterschiede zwischen Frauen und Männern gibt es kaum (12.704 zu 13.234). 
  • Bei den Altersklassen ist es so, dass die älteren Semester (alles zwischen 35 und 49) mehr gehen als die die Gruppe 20 bis 34. 
  • Das Management geht im Schnitt auch mehr (14.320 im Vergleich zu 12.677).  

Die Interpretation der Zahlen sollte jeder für sich machen 😊

Aktuell läuft das Reporting noch über ein Excel-basiertes Model. Da wir aber festgestellt haben, dass der Upload über Excel einige Nachteile mit sich bringt, erarbeitet unser dualer Student aktuell eine BW Lösung. Damit können wir dann auch sehr gut die Unterschiede zwischen den unterschiedlichen Integrationsverfahren von SAP Analytics Cloud darstellen. Weiterhin bereiten wir die Daten für die mobile Darstellung weiter auf. Die ersten Tests sehen recht vielversprechend aus. Es bleibt spannend, und nicht nur welches Team am Ende des Tages (14.12) das Rennen machen wird. Zu gewinnen gibt es übrigens: Nichts
